Registered Nurse (RN)
A healthcare professional who provides comprehensive patient care, including, but not limited to, assessment of patient condition, patent and family education, medication administration, IVs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Working under the supervision of a RN or physician, LVNs maintain a wide range of responsibilities, including patient communication, reporting of status, medication management, wound care, ADL assistance, and, of course, collaboration with other healthcare professionals to plan and modify patient care.
Private Duty Nurse
A private duty nurse provides personalized nursing care to patients in their homes or other private settings, ranging from blood-draw, infusions, and wound care to assistance with mobility and activities of daily living. The nurse also provides emotional support, offering comfort and companionship.
